Microsoft confirma sus nuevas políticas de renovación de Game Pass a nivel mundial
Hace un par de días os informamos de las nuevas políticas de Microsoft con respecto a la renovación de Game Pass en Reino Unido. Esto se ha dado a través de un compromiso establecido con la Autoridad de Mercados y Competencia (CMA) del país, tras ser investigados por la misma, y que podría afectar a otras compañías como Sony y Nintendo. Estas emergen principalmente a la renovación automática de suscripciones, es decir, Game Pass y Xbox Live Gold.
Ahora, podemos especificar que Microsoft confirma sus nuevas políticas de renovación de Game Pass a nivel mundialaclarando que los cambios añadidos en la noticia anterior no tendrán efecto solo en Reino Unido, si no en todo el mundo.

Estas políticas consistirán, de forma concreta, en una mayor transparencia con el usuario, dejando claro que la suscripción se renovará de forma automática, salvo que se configure para lo contrario, cuándo se renovará, cuánto costará tal renovación y cómo solicitar un reembolso en caso de que se renueve de forma no deseada. Es más, si un usuario incluso lleva mucho tiempo con una suscripción automática sin usar, se le avisará de ello e se cancelará su suscripción si permanece inactiva por más tiempo.
