Gracias a Crhis Capossela, director de marketing de Microsoft, hemos aprendido que Xbox Series X | S y Xbox Game Pass aumentan las ventas de juegos de Xbox hasta en un 50%. Así lo ha asegurado en su participación en el Conferencia Evercore ISI TMT, donde, además, ha dado su punto de vista sobre el servicio de Microsoft, tal y como lo comparten compañeros de 3djuegos.

El director de marketing de Microsoft se ha declarado un verdadero fanático de los videojuegos, y está enormemente orgulloso de lo comprometidos que están con el negocio, tratando de crear un modelo comercial donde el jugador sea el epicentro de todo.
Hemos intentado cambiar el modelo de negocio de la forma en que enfocamos los juegos para poner al jugador más en el centro. Y estamos alcanzando nuestros niveles de suscripción más altos.
Nuestros ingresos por juegos crecieron un 50%, que es una locura. Parte de eso está impulsado por las nuevas consolas, Xbox Series X y Series S, pero mucho de eso, francamente, está impulsado por suscripciones, contenido y servicios como Game Pass.
Por tanto, parece que a ojos de Capossela y seguramente de buena parte del consejo de administración de la compañía, Xbox Game Pass será un modelo mucho más rentable de lo que podría parecer a primera vista.
