Rebellion acaba de anunciar el modo Invasión para Sniper Elite 5 llegará a Xbox Game Pass. El anuncio se realizó a través de un ingenioso tráiler cinematográfico de Sniper Elite 5, que presenta este nuevo y emocionante modo multijugador. El nuevo modo Invasión para Sniper Elite 5 agregará más diversidad a las tácticas que los jugadores deberán emplear para completar su misión. El Axis invader sniper tendrá como único objetivo eliminar al jugador, mientras que el francotirador aliado tendrá un objetivo adicional: acabar con el invasor. El modo Invasión también estará disponible en modo cooperativo, aumentando el desafío para el invasor del Eje, ya que ahora tiene dos aliados a los que perseguir, pero ofrece mayores recompensas.
