We did it, folks. We hit December, officially starting winter 2020, which actually includes just a couple of weeks of 2020, and the vast majority of game releases will arrive in the year 2021. What will we play now that we leave this hellish year behind us and move on to one in which, hopefully, things will improve? Let’s find out.
The news Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 they are already here! After successful launches, plus severe console shortages and a few bugs, we’re ready for the “next-gen” game parade to begin. This winter will see the release of a handful of cross-platform games with dedicated versions for the powerful new hardware, including an enhanced version of Control, of Outriders Square Enix and Riders Republic from Ubisoft. Also, this season the new Xbox Series X should finally receive the previously delayed game. The Mediumwhile PS5 players will get an upgraded version of Nioh 2. On Switch we will be filled with joy by the arrival of Super Mario 3D World.
Notably, while we are moving into the next generation, all games listed for Xbox One and PS4 will also work on Xbox Series X / S and PS5. In the list the games listed for the new consoles are titles that have dedicated versions for X / S and PS5.
